ATTENTION LITERARY AGENTS
I’m seeking an Agent
In the difficult task of attaining a Literary Agent, I have decided to make an offer to which all parties will benefit in the end. In the past ten years I have written seven feature-length scripts with three more on the way. These are not your run-of-the-mill stories that bore the reader and fall flat in its intent. These stories are compelling, thought provoking, some fun, some scary, in many different genres.
Here is what I propose:
Represent me under contract for thirty (30) days. Within these thirty days contact a list of seven (7) Studios, from a list I will provide or you suggest, and submit seven (7) script ideas. I will provide a synopsis, proposed actors, proposed budget and other bits for each script to assist in the proposal.
If after thirty (30) days we have not received at least one studio offer, you can release me from the contract.
We live in a world where everything is supersaturated. People no longer have time to skim through scripts, have long pitch meetings or interview writers. I believe in my abilities and want to prove it to you in as short a time as I can.
